City Commerce Bureau Leaders Conduct Research to Empower Innovation in Intelligent Remanufacturing and Additive Manufacturing Industries
On the morning of January 5, Zheng Wei, Deputy Director of the Xi’an Municipal Commerce Bureau, along with a delegation, visited the Economic and Technological Development Zone Pilot Free Trade Zone for a specialized research session. In the morning, they conducted an on-site visit to a key technology enterprise in the district—the Xi’an Intelligent Remanufacturing Research Institute—to gain an in-depth understanding of the enterprise’s development, listen to their needs, and provide guidance. Wang Xin, Executive Dean of the institute, accompanied the research team and reported on related work.
During the research process, Deputy Director Zheng Wei and other officials explored the institute’s research and development center, production testing workshops, and achievement exhibition area in detail. They learned about the institute’s progress and achievements in technological innovation, achievement transformation, industrial application, and talent cultivation in the fields of additive manufacturing (3D printing) and intelligent remanufacturing. He acknowledged the institute’s efforts in adhering to independent innovation and promoting the industrialization of technology.
Executive Dean Wang Xin expressed gratitude for the long-term care and support from the Municipal Commerce Bureau and the Economic and Technological Development Zone. He emphasized that the institute would take this research visit as a guide, continue to delve deeply into the fields of intelligent remanufacturing and additive manufacturing, strengthen collaboration among industry, academia, research, and application, accelerate innovation breakthroughs and application expansion, and strive to contribute more "institute strength" to the transformation, upgrading, and emerging industrial development of the manufacturing sector in Xi’an and even nationwide.
