From November 29th to 30th, the inaugural Laser Manufacturing & Additive Manufacturing Innovation and Development Conference & Exhibition was held in Beijing. Xi'an Intelligent Remanufacturing Research Institute participated in the exhibition, bringing its conformal additive manufacturing equipment. It joined industry experts and partners from across the country to share its latest technological achievements in intelligent remanufacturing, composite additive manufacturing, 3D printing, and other fields.
The timing of this exhibition coincides with a critical period where the nation is accelerating the cultivation of future industries like laser manufacturing and additive manufacturing. With the commencement of policy document drafting for the innovative development of the laser manufacturing industry targeting 2025, and the implementation of the "Work Plan for Stabilizing Growth in the Machinery Industry," efforts are being strengthened to enhance policy guidance and drive the scale development of the industry. This further promotes the growth of new quality productive forces in advanced manufacturing sectors like laser manufacturing and additive manufacturing.
Since its establishment, Xi'an Intelligent Remanufacturing Research Institute has consistently adhered to its mission of "Reshaping the Full Lifecycle Value of Equipment." At this exhibition, the Institute showcased its intelligent remanufacturing process integrating five cores: intelligent disassembly, intelligent inspection, intelligent composite additive manufacturing, intelligent composite welding, and intelligent subtractive manufacturing. Simultaneously, it exhibited its newly developed achievement – conformal additive manufacturing equipment. Driven by market demand for R&D and guided by the transformation of results into industrial applications, it has closed the loop from innovation to market, attracting numerous attendees to stop and engage in discussions.
Compared to traditional equipment, the Xi'an Intelligent Remanufacturing Research Institute's conformal additive manufacturing all-in-one machine features an integrated design with high integration, facilitating placement within production areas. Furthermore, the product is equipped with an industrial six-axis robot and a two-axis positioner, providing eight-axis synchronization capability enabling conformal printing and repair of complex surfaces. Integrating "hardware + software + process packages," it offers a one-stop solution from model extraction to path planning and process implementation.
In the field of intelligent remanufacturing, leveraging the technical experience of its parent company, Tianyuan Intelligent Remanufacturing, Xi'an Intelligent Remanufacturing Research Institute has standardized the remanufacturing process. Empowered by automation and digitalization, it further promotes the development of key processes towards automation and intelligence. Currently, for remanufacturing segments with high market demand concentration, such as intelligent inspection, intelligent composite additive manufacturing, and intelligent welding, corresponding intelligent mechanized products have been developed and applied in fields including mining, petroleum, metallurgy, and rail transit.
