On the afternoon of April 2nd, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony between the School of Resources Engineering, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, and Shaanxi Tianyuan Intelligent Remanufacturing Co., Ltd. was successfully held at the Shaanxi Provincial Intelligent Remanufacturing Innovation Center. The two parties co-established the "Smart Mine Joint R&D Application Center" to jointly promote the "Four Modernizations" construction of non-coal mines and create a new benchmark for industry-education integration.

Deepening University-Enterprise Cooperation, Strategizing for New Development in Smart Mines

Professor Gu Qinghua, Dean of the School of Resources Engineering, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, Professor Bu Xianzhong, Vice Dean, and Professor Ruan Shunling, Vice Dean, held in-depth discussions with Wang Chunchang, Chairman of Tianyuan Zhizao, and Huang Fang, Executive Deputy General Manager. Both sides exchanged views on topics including the "mechanization, automation, informatization, and intelligentization" construction of non-coal mines in Shaanxi Province, scientific research collaboration, and the construction of practical training bases. They reached a strategic consensus on promoting deep industry-education integration and creating replicable demonstration projects for non-coal smart mines.

Chairman Wang Chunchang stated, "Through the establishment of the R&D Application Center, we can precisely obtain customized technical implementation plans tailored for open-pit + underground mining, underground safety monitoring, and comprehensive resource utilization, thereby enhancing our technical problem-solving capabilities. We will deeply address the needs of non-coal mining industry customers through a 'dual-drive approach focusing on both software and hardware'."

Co-building an R&D Platform to Empower Industry Development

Witnessed by the attending guests, the two parties formally signed the strategic cooperation agreement and announced the establishment of the "Smart Mine Joint R&D Application Center." Tianyuan Zhizao appointed Professor Gu Qinghua as the center's "Consultant Expert" and Professor Ruan Shunling as the "Chief Scientist." The School of Resources Engineering appointed Chairman Wang Chunchang as a "Visiting Professor" of the School, further strengthening the industry-university-research collaborative innovation system.

The center will focus on the intelligent construction of non-coal mines, prioritizing R&D on key technologies such as unmanned mining equipment, remote control systems, and intelligent safety management. It will also establish an underground practical training base to achieve full-chain integration of "teaching - R&D - application."
